Our leadership team is also supported by many part-time members, including Justin Babin, Merlit Mathew, Madeleine Driscoll, Jackline Nyargo, and Arib Kamal. We have a team of advisors including Drs. Aziz Guergachi (Professor of Business and Information Technology Management), and Dr. Steven Splinter (Science Entrepreneur, Radiant Technologies), and many innovation/acceleration partners.

Dr. Mark Aquilino is a biomedical engineer and entrepreneur with a focus on technologies at the crossroads of 3D tissue engineering and human electrophysiology. His passion is in transform biomedical innovations into novel tools to help those in medical need lead more enriched lives. Mark received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto.

Clara is a current 3rd year PhD student of Pharmacology and Toxicology at University of Toronto and a Masters Pharmacology graduate with in vivo (University College London, Janssen Pharmaceutica) and in vitro (University of Toronto, University of Bristol) laboratory research experience. Clara's specialty is in neuropharmacology.

Rohit is an MD/PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of British Columbia. Ranked 1st nationwide in the 2020 Vanier Scholarship competition. He has published >20 peer reviewed articles, and created two previous medtech/biotech startups. Rohit is Interested in quantitative medical imaging, biotech platforms, and translational medicine.
